The hotel offers incredible value for money, with affordable prices for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff are friendly and accommodating, always going the extra mile to ensure guests' needs are met. The attention to detail is impressive, from the well-maintained rooms with great views to the basic amenities provided. The location is perfect, with a picturesque woodland path leading to a secluded and beautiful beach.
All was well; no improvements needed.

The location of Priory Bay is magical. The private beach is stunning and the staff could not do more to be helpful.
The decor is tired in parts and needs updating - the bathrooms are very dated. The tithe cottage suites lack character. The food was excellent in parts, but disappointingly ordinary in others.

We had a memorable stay in a long time. We loved stuff and views here.
Cannot find any fault.

Stayed here for a business trip and loved the hotel's stunning location by the beach. The pool and tennis courts were a great addition to the trip. , the staff were very welcoming and helpful during my stay.
The hotel room I stayed in felt a bit outdated and could use some renovations. The breakfast was basic and could have had a better selection.

The Hotel is in a wonderful location, with a short woodland walk down to a lovely beach. The building itself is beautiful, magical even, with a slightly faded elegance that is just right. The staff are friendly and professional but not intrusive and the grounds are perfectly kept and a real pleasure to walk around.I Have stayed in many many hotels and the Priory Bay is one of the most charming I have ever seen.
However - we were given room seven which is barely bigger than a broom cupboard and is situated above the kitchens with the sound of extractor fans and kitchen smells all day untill gone ten in the evening! We felt like this was because we had booked last minute and had got a good rate for a standard room: seven is not a standard room and if we had been given this information at the point of booking or shortly after, we would have chosen another Hotel. -The magic of the Priory Bay could not compensate for this which was a great shame.

The rooms were excellent as were the grounds and beach etc.
One gripe. I ordered the fish special and was presented at the table with something else along with an apology - not given the chance to change my order. I didn't feel I could object as had my kids with me and didn't want to make a fuss. It was fine, but I'd expect to be told the dish was off and would I care to order something else.

We had a simply wonderful stay at a charming hotel in a stunning location. Our principal room was not only comfortable and clean, but also provided breathtaking views of the grounds and sea. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was truly memorable. The private beach was a hidden gem, rivaling any beach in the world. Although the golf course was out of action, it didn't dampen our enjoyable experience. We can't wait to return! we highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway.

Very friendly staff. Lovely location, surrounded by mature trees and yet only a short walk through the woods to the beach. Super dining room and a brasserie in the adjoining room. You can have either the brasseie menu or Fine Dining menu in the dining room. Large bedrooms, include iron and board. Excellent lounge and public rooms.
The 6 hole golf course is for beginners. As we went off-season it would be nice to have an indoor swimming pool

Beaautiful attic room-very innovative and well set out. Decor was to a very high standard in our room. Plenty of space to lounge both inside and outside hotel.
Disliked having to pay a lot of money for a game of tennis or golf etc which are classed as extras. Also our tariff did not include breakfast which was another £24.00 per couple which for a bowl of fruit and precooked grill seemed a bit ott.

The hotel is in a fabulous location, nestled close to a secluded beach. Guests can easily access the beach through a picturesque woodland path. The beautiful beach offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hotel also has a lovely garden with a BBQ area, providing a great spot to enjoy some delicious food while taking in the stunning surroundings.
The staffing at the hotel seems to be lean, which can lead to some delays in service at times.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the staff were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Secondly, the rooms were spacious, clean, and had stunning views of the surrounding area. Additionally, the hotel's attention to detail was superb, from the basic amenities provided to the beautiful beach in the garden, perfect for a BBQ. Lastly, the breakfast options were varied and delicious, providing a great start to each day.
The toast could have been of better quality.

We both enjoyed our stay.
The only thing that grated with both of us was the compulsory addition of a 12.5% service charge on our evening meal "for our convenience" according to the menu. I resent this and have walked out of restaurants that have imposed these voluntary gratuities in the past.
